While my little brother visited town for a week and a half, I took him to the aquarium in Draper. He was surprised that it had more than just aquatic animals, while I found out that it's actually a non-profit, which explains why the majority of the people working there are volunteers.
Every time I visit the aquarium, I'm reminded of how much I would love to work in animal care, especially for reptiles, chondrichthyans, and exotic mammals. It would be a dream to do my part in conservation and animal education, especially in light of the modern climate change crisis.
